Product Description
Although the pain inflicted by taking a metal handrail to the chest might be someone else's idea of a good time, the Demon Snow Men's Shield Vest helps you reduce the damage just in case you're not one of these people. Lightweight and low profile, this vest offers vital core protection and burlier, hard-plastic shielding for your spine. Breathable synthetic material means you won't sweat like a pig while you session that booter, rail, or potentially damaging extreme-feature (yeah we just said extreme).

Awesome Protection
By Ray
The Demon Shield Protective Vest was definitely one of the best pieces of gear in my newbie snowboarding pack. As a beginner it is importance to be able to keep up you confidence, and this protective vest helped minimize the many esteem-busting tumbles I had. By the end of the season I was attempting small kickers, on and off piste jumps, and boxes with ease. During the season I fell many times on my butt and back, but this protection helped me spend more time on my feet. I felt no hard impacts from landing face up on boxes. This vest works best in conjunction with impact shorts (I recommend Skeletools).
As for fit, I felt the strap across the stomach was a little loose for my size, but the rest of the vest fit well. Do note that this does ride up occasionally, but I never really noticed until I took a couple of nasty spills, got up and starting riding again. Despite the vest riding up I never felt like I was unprotected.
Be sure to get the same size as your t-shirt (as in undershirt) size and it will fit great. I think my problems would have been alleviated if I had gotten a L (my undershirt size) instead of an XL (my comfortable t-shirt size). As with all gear, keep a bottle of deodorizer handy and be sure to let this guy dry out before use!

Love this product. Worth every penny it costed.

Tried out last Sunday 26/11/2012 on a ski resort close to my house (Saint-Bruno ski resort in Quebec, Canada.).
As this was the first ride this year and they only had artificial produced snow, there ware some ice patches on the ground, and I ended up falling. It worth all the money i invested... :)
Must have if you are still learning..
