If you like hats and alpaca(s) you will like this hat
By Anthony J. Dourish
This hat features several alpaca(s)(apparently the plural of alpaca can be alpaca or alpacas) grazing from what appears to be a patch of grass or perhaps a bucket of food. I'm not sure what food alpaca(s) prefer to eat, but I would assume it is some kind of hardy mountain food. This hat features a small pom pom on the top and two straps to hold the hat on your head while in heavy winds. I bought this hat for my girlfriend and we perform some basic tests to see how well this hat would perform under windy conditions. Since it was a calm day, we used a hair dryer to simulate a small gust of wind (pictures pending). At no point did the hat fall off my girlfriends head.

At this point we needed additional data and we should perform more tests. The next logical step would be to drive around our neighborhood while my girlfriend learned out of the window. If the hat remained on my girlfriends head while we reaching speeds of 30mph(48kph) then we would know for sure that this hat can stand up most of the storms that are likely in this area. (video pending)

At this point we were sure that the hat could hold up to windy conditions but we had a problem. We needed data on how the hat would hold up to cold weather. It was 15C outside and we had a serious problem. We had two options, wait a few weeks for winter to come (winter is coming) or find a location that was cold. We drive to our local grocery store and I opened the freezer doors next to some freeze pops. My girlfriend scrunched up in a little ball on the floor next to the freezer and allowed the freezing air to fall onto her head. There was silence in the frozen food section. Both young and old alike stopped in there tracks and watched as we conducted science. It was obvious what we were up to. They had probably spotted the alpaca(s) on the front of the hat and knew that this was no ordinary sheep wool hat. This is not a cheap hat and few people are not willing to invest in alpaca wool because of the price. They want solid data on how much softer and warmer these hats are compared to ordinary sheep wool. The atmosphere was electric. My girlfriend raised her hand in the air and began to make a gesture. She began to extend her thumb and slowly rotated her wrist into an upright position. It was a thumbs up. She had survived the cold air test! There were cheers from the people around us. I spotted a tear on an young child. Sadly this child could not afford an alpaca hat of her own but some day she might get a job and save up the money to buy one. Now she had a goal in life.

Buy this hat. You need it. Winter is coming.
