Bofur

I wanted a hat that would keep me warm while walking with my girlfriend. I ordered this after having read just the first review and looking at the pics. For some reason it never occurred to me that this is for girls, which is stupid on my part cuz there is a pic of a girl wearing it. Regardless, I had ordered the brown version already and you can't tell it's for a girl. The faux fur is not like in the picture, the other review was right, it's darker and not so much brown like in the pic. I've worn it a few times now on my walks and it def keeps my head warm. I wanted something raggedy and goofy looking and with my scarf and having a beard, I kinda look like the Dwarve Bofur from the Hobbit movie, which I'm totally cool with. It was affordable, it's comfy and keeps me warm. Def a good buy. Keeps my head warm while walking with my girlfriend and looking at Christmas lights around town.

Get ready to received compliments.

I purchased this hat over two years ago through a different seller on Amazon. At the time of my purchase, it was only $5. I love it. Every time I've worn it out I've received compliments on it. From my professors to the TSA agents checking my gear at airports. The hat is also functional, keeps my head warm and my ears toasty.

I have the Brown hat, however, the faux fur is different than the picture. This never bothered me, because the fur on the hat that I received is closer to that on the Green hat (having different shades and gradients of brown to look more realistic). So the color isn't flat and is a nice contrast.

After two years, it's holding up pretty well. The material inside the quilted interior seems to have thinned slightly. The unhemmed bits of fabric where the different fabrics are patched together have frayed a little and bits of string hang off, but it's not that noticeable. It adds character and kind of goes with the "shabby chic" look of the hat I suppose.

But seriously, this is a totally great purchase. In winter I don't leave my house without it.

Just a bit too big

It took over my whole face. But it's nice looking. I would recommend it for any fashion savvy melon head.
