Good but small

I love the way this Dakine stomp pad looks! It's hard to find a cool, clear pad that doesn't cover the graphics on your board - especially one for a girl! The pad is nice and looks good, but it's real small. It still works to grab your boot, but again, it could be bigger. If you're looking for a stomp pad to really hold or fit your foot, I'd look at other options, but if you just want something small that pretty much does the trick, this will work. It was real easy to put on my board. I read another review saying it didn't stick, but I had no problem... you just want to ensure your board is clean and you heat the pad up with a hair dryer before using.

Love it!

Just took up snowboarding here in Montana and bough my board bindings and boots off E-bay. The first ride out on it was rough coming off the left with no stomp pads. Slipped and fell everytime. My boyfriend has just a honey-comb looking stomp pad and after getting this stomp pad he wants one with spikes now! The spikes on it make all the difference in the world. I bought the lace looking one and the clear one. I love the beautiful girly hot pink of my board so i thought the lace would look cute, BUT, with the clear one you can see right thru so it doesnt ever up the board. I put one in front of the other, way more grip. Glad I did it. The instructions say to use a blow dryer to heat the board and the sticky stuff on the pad before putting it on, DO IT!!!!! IT WORKS! And I mean HEAT it up!!! Like burning your hand and really melting that glue on the pad. Then once you set it on the board stand on top of it, make sure u have a shoe on cuz the plastic spikes sure do hurt. Dont twist, dont move, just steady pressure. more the better. Let it sit for a few days, it says 48 hrs on the instructions but i let it set for a week. After the first day of use and abuse, they work awesome, stay put, not lifting, look great, and should be used for every board. Oh, they sent is US Post Office and it came in 4 days.

very small pad

I have a snowboard of 145 cm. This pad is really small for a 145cm pad. So think about what I say before you purchase this mat. The clear color will not block the print on your board. The spikes do actually stop you falling from your board, especially when you get off the tram. However, I wish I got a bigger one.
