Another great product from Canada Goose
By Kyle Heinrichs
I bought these mittens for my girlfriend as a christmas present. She always complained about having cold hands and in honest i wasnt a fan of that either. She hates the cold and she hates how her hands always get cold first. I knew from experience that Canada goose makes an excellent product. I decided to spend the extra cash to get these mitts and she loves them! She never complains about cold hands and that makes it worth the money right there. We live in Winnipeg Canada and can get temperatures in the -40C. The gloves are excellent quality and will last for years. Another great product from a great company. They are worth the price tag!

not impressed
By snob4java
I received these mittens today. Was pleased when they arrived in a very timely manner. However when i put them on and walked to the mailbox (5 minutes) my fingers stayed warm but my thumbs FROZE in +12*F from the lack of insulation!!! For the price of $117 with shipping i expected them to at least keep me warm. A more realistic price for the lack of function is about $30! I am VERY disappointed in the "Canada Goose company" for putting their signature on this product. My advice to Canada Goose... More insulation in the thumbs!!!! (made in Canada would be nice too, not China)

5 Star So Far - But Winter Hasn't Arrived in Chicago Yet
By John ChiTown
Let me start by saying I returned the pair I purchased from Amazon to be on the safe side. The Canada Goose website states that Amazon is not an authorized dealer and there is a chance of counterfeit items being shipped by non authorized dealers. I strongly rely on Amazon & do not think they would knowingly sell a knock off, but I did get a obvious knock of a pair of Ray Bans, which they arranged a full refund on.
I did get a pair of the mittens from an authorized dealer and got to try them out a few days ago when the temperature was at freezing. In the past I always had frozen fingers even at that temperature. With the Canada Goose Mitts my hands were toasty warm after almost three hours of playing fetch with my dog. My hands stayed not only warm but dry as well, any dog owner knows how wet a tennis ball gets from a slobbering dog. No moisture leaked in.
I have Type II diabetes which affects the circulation in my hands and feet so I have tried many pairs of gloves, mittens with and without hand warmers to no avail - now I think I found the answer for my hands - if only Canada Goose made boots.
I will update in a month or so when winter really settles in. These mittens are very expensive - but I have spent at least that much over the last few years on gloves and heaters that still left me cold.
UPDATE: 11 Months & 1 Chicago Winter Later
The 5 Stars are still valid. In the worst of conditions my hands never get cold. They have gotten pretty gross and grimy from slobber covered tennis balls at the dog park - but a quick trip through the washing machine and dryer on gentle cycle and they came out looking like new.
